SIBIL.LA
On Thursday, 30 July, starting at 5:00 a.m., the American Gardens in Opatija will host a very special new concert format: TIME OF DAY.
In a series of short concerts lasting only a few minutes, the SIBIL.LA ensemble will use medieval music unlike anything previously heard in Croatia to evoke the atmosphere of different times of day: Le Matin, Le Midi, Le Soir and La Nuit.
These concerts are intended for musical adventurers in search of something truly special. Yes, arriving at the American Gardens at 5:00 a.m. is a challenge – but those who accept it will be rewarded with a unique experience of the sunrise over the sea, immersed in music.
On Saturday, 1 August, at 8:30 p.m., the SIBIL.LA ensemble will perform a programme unlike anything previously heard in Croatia, using medieval instruments in the American Gardens.
On this occasion, Festival Kvarner will also continue its long-standing cooperation with the Brotherhood of Croatian Wine Knights, whose members will invite the audience to enjoy a glass of local sparkling wine after the concert.
Admission to all concerts is free.
