Teslate, an Opatija-made chocolate souvenir inspired by Nikola Tesla, has won the 2026 “Nikola Tesla – Genius for the Future” Award in the Creative and Innovative Projects category.
Opatija – the cradle of European and Croatian tourism and a favourite destination of the aristocratic elite, film and music stars, artists and writers, as well as hundreds of thousands of guests from all over the world who enjoy the charms of the ‘Queen of the Adriatic’ every year – this year celebrates its 180th anniversary as a tourist destination.
